Help build the first Masjid in Vic Falls
According to the last census of Victoria Falls Town in Zimbabwe the total number residents was around 65000. This includes at least 30 Muslim families.
The Muslim Community of Vic Falls currently utilise 2 rooms in Brother Yusuf Makwemba’s home for daily and Jummah prayers. At the same venue they will be starting Madressa classes for both children and adults.

For Jummuah prayers, the prayer area is extended into the lounge so that the sisters can join the congregation.
The Vic Falls Muslim Association is embarking on a project to build Vic Falls’ first masjid for the local community and visitors. The plans for the new masjid include a Madressa and burial services. 2500 square metres of land has been procured in Chinotimba but is pending a site survey and council approval.
